These terms govern your use of jbe.works and any services you engage JBE Works to provide. By using the site or purchasing a service, you agree to them.
JBE Works provides web development, headless WordPress builds, performance/SEO audits, and ongoing site care plans. The specific scope, deliverables, and price of any engagement are confirmed in a proposal or order before work begins.
Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for you transfers to you, except for third-party components and our pre-existing tools/frameworks, which are licensed to you for use in the deliverable. We may display non-confidential work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
The site and our deliverables may rely on third-party services (e.g., Stripe, hosting, analytics, WordPress). We are not responsible for their availability or performance, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
The site and the free audit are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Audit scores are indicative and depend on third-party tooling. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement.
Either party may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for fees for work performed up to termination; see the Refund Policy for deposits.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada [confirm jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
